Leadership

The Pikesville Armory Foundation is the 501(c)(3) Maryland nonprofit formed to redevelop and operate the historic Pikesville Armory Campus. Its leadership and staff is made up of passionate community leaders, many of whom have been advocates for this project for nearly a decade.

OUR STAFF

David Ginsburg, Executive Director
David is a skilled problem solver with over 25 years of experience assisting Fortune 1000 companies to reach their growth potential. Having served on the Governor’s Commission and as a founding member of the Pikesville Armory Foundation, he has been a key contributor to this organization’s formation. He also leads a veteran’s organization and serves on the boards of several non-profits.
Rachel Trask, Chief Development Officer
A passionate and motivated development professional, Rachel has worked in the nonprofit sector for 18 years. She has assisted in multiple nonprofit sectors, including advocacy, social and human services, healthcare, and education. She brings her expertise in capital campaigns to help increase awareness and sustainability of worthy missions.
Kristin Zeminski, Director of Operations
As chair of Baltimore County's Action Plan Committee subcommittee Streetscape and Design and Advisory Council Member for CHAI, Kristin holds a strong background in local community engagement and leadership. Supporting her passion for community projects, she brings grant writing and managing experience. In 2022, Kristin received the Baltimore County Council Resolution for distinguished and dedicated service to the community and the Maryland General Assembly Official Citation for outstanding achievements and beneficial impact to the community.
Maria Abreu, Director of Development
Originally from Dominican Republic, Maria is a bilingual professional with 20+ years of experience in the nonprofit and international organizations world, excelling at fostering strategic partnerships, fundraising, project management, planning, creative thinking, and socioeconomic research. She has been an independent consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Inter-American Bank (IDB) and The World Bank, has worked for the Government of the Dominican Republic and also for several nonprofits both in the DR and in the United States; and most recently was the Director of Advancement at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, MD where she lead a capital campaign and numerous fundraising efforts and events.
Lupe Ramos-Silva, Senior Consultant
Lupe, a dedicated development professional, has over 30 years of nonprofit experience. As Marketing Director for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she established a marketing division generating over $130 million and later served as Associate Director for the Pacific Region, overseeing a $4.5 million budget and raising $8 million annually. As the first full-time Development Director at Exceptional Minds, a vocational school for young adults with autism, Lupe secured over $7.5 million through diverse fundraising efforts. Currently, she consults for the Pikesville Armory Foundation and serves on two San Fernando Valley boards, leveraging her expertise in relationship-building and fund development.
