We are creating a Memorial Walk on our reimagined campus, with historic markers denoting the history of the units of WWI, WWII and the Global War on Terror: ensuring that history is honored for generations to come.
This 17-acre campus will offer indoor and outdoor athletic infrastructure and programming, a state-of-the-art ADA-friendly playground and splash-pad, co-working areas and makerspaces for small businesses and entrepreneurs, a community theater, public art displays, rehearsal and performance spaces, walking paths, a restaurant and cafés, green areas and gardens, meeting spaces and programming for veterans, and so much more!
A long-term public-private partnership with Baltimore County is bringing the largest and most modern senior center of the area to the Pikesville Armory!
See the project timeline HERE.
The WWII Memorial “The Guard Remembers” currently on site will be upgraded and moved to a more prestigious location.
Many historic garages will be transformed into art galleries and studios, co-working spaces and a restaurant, and we'll also host educational programs for our community.
The main Armory building will host indoor athletics courts (basketball, pickleball), an indoor walking path, cafés, an intergenerational community area, and the largest senior center of Baltimore County! In its third floor it will have a performance and event space with access to the rooftop.
PAF just finished a complete historic restoration and renovation of the NCO Club building, built in the late 1800s. It is now PAF’s headquarters and offers a continued free meeting space for veterans. It also brings vibrancy and serves the community by offering room rentals for private events, and providing curated programming for all.
The transformation of the Pikesville Armory started with the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Club building early 2024, chosen to be the first one redeveloped because of its historical and present-day value as a hub for community and veterans activities, and its symbolic presence being the closest to Reisterstown Road (an emblematic main street).
The NCO Club building renovation has been completed! It opened to the public in May of 2025. Our spaces are available for private and corporate rentals.
A dedicated area of more than a
full acre at the reimagined
Pikesville Armory will become an ADA-friendly playground that will be a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for children of all ages and abilities.
Children of all ages and abilities will find a space to grow, connect and thrive at the Pikesville Armory!
